Copyright Policy

The intellectual property rights of others are respected by Paperub. If your research as well as your work has been duplicated in a manner that violates your copyright, please notify Paperub's Copyright Agent via the "Notification of Alleged Infringement" form and provide the details requested below. Paperub's objective is to react to clear Claims of Alleged Infringement, and our policy is intended to make filing Claims of Alleged Infringement as simple as possible so that we get fewer Notifications that are false or difficult to comprehend or verify. If you, as a User (as categorized in the User Agreement at https://www.paperub.com/about/terms) or subscriber, are concerned about the removal or blocking of access to your content, you may submit a written "Counter-Notification" to Paperub's Copyright Agent, outlining the information requested below. The following formats are consistent with those recommended by the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the full text of which may be obtained at the United States Copyright Office's website, http://www.copyright.gov).

NOTIFICATION OF ALLEGED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT UNDER THE DMCA

Send a Notification of Claimed Infringement to Freelancer's registered Copyright Agent at the email or physical address is shown below if you would want to make a claim of copyright infringement for content. The Copyright Agent, care of Paperub, 2055 Limestone Rd STE 200-C, Wilmington, DE, New Castle, US, 19808copyright@paperub.com A Notification of Alleged Infringement must be sent in writing and contain the following details to be valid:

• The exclusive copyright owner's (or someone authorized to act on the owner's behalf) physical or electronic signature.
• Specification of the protected works that were allegedly stolen and used without permission
• Specific URLs or links to the infringing content that must be deleted or access to which must be blocked must be provided.
• The specific location of the content that is allegedly infringing or will be the subject of infringing activities with information sufficiently adequate to allow the Freelancer to identify the Content.
• Information for the Notification sender that is enough for Paperub to make contact with them, such as an email address, postal address, and phone number, is required.
• A declaration that the complainant has a good faith belief that the content is not being used in accordance with the copyright owner's or agent's wishes or the law.
• A written statement attesting under penalty of perjury that the claims made in the Notification are accurate and that the presenter of the Notification has the power to act on behalf of the proprietor of the exclusive rights at issue.

COUNTER-NOTIFICATION UNDER THE DMCA

A Counter-Notification must be sent in writing and contain the following details to be valid:

• An original signature (physical or electronic) from the User or subscriber, or someone authorized to act on behalf of the User or subscriber.
• An original signature (physical or electronic) from the User or subscriber, or someone authorized to act on behalf of the User or subscriber.
• An affidavit from the User or subscriber asserting that the content was mistakenly deleted or deactivated.
• Name, address, and contact information for the User or subscriber, together with a declaration that Specifically, (1) the Subscriber agrees to be subject to the authority of (a) (in the case of US addresses), the Federal District Court for the US judicial district in which the address is situated, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (for addresses outside the United States), and User or subscriber (2) agrees to accept service of process from the person who filed the Notification of Claimed Infringement or an agent of that person.

It is important to remember that under Section 512(f) of the United States Copyright Act, any person who willfully makes a significant misrepresentation that content or activity was taken or blocked due to error or misidentification may be liable. In addition, please be aware that we have a policy that allows for the immediate cancellation of service for repeat infringing Users or subscribers.
